Mike Steele — President

Mike Steele joined Kirkpatrick Oil Company in 1994 as Landman and Gas Contracts Manager. He subsequently served as Land Manager and in 2006 was named President.

He launched his career over 30 years ago as a field landman in western Oklahoma. Steele then joined Tenneco Oil Company as Senior Landman with responsibilities that included Kansas and northwest Oklahoma. Following Tenneco he was employed with Joseph B. Singer Oil Company where he expanded his duties to include the management of the company’s mineral holdings.

Steele graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Land Management. He is a member of the Oklahoma City Association of Petroleum Landmen, the American Association of Professional Landmen and the Rotary Club of Oklahoma City.
